Our island line is a single daily route linking Bali (Serangan), Nusa Penida, Gili Gede, Senggigi, Gili Trawangan, Gili Air and Bangsal. Book one leg or several: step aboard at any stop and off at another, wherever you need to be. See The Island Line for the full map and fares.

Yes, it’s a daily loop. On the way out it calls at every island, including Gili Trawangan and Gili Air; on the way back it runs straight down the Lombok coast. To travel between any two stops in either direction, you simply continue around the loop.

These are stops on our island line rather than separate Bali crossings. Hop the line from Bali (via Gili Trawangan), or travel between any two stops. Just book the legs you need on The Island Line.

No, and we always make it clear. We run our own boats across the island line and the inter-island routes. On the busy Bali to Gili Trawangan crossing you travel with Gili Getaway or a recommended trusted operator, and every service shows its operator before you pay.

It’s not included in the fare, but private air-conditioned transfers are available to book. Add South Bali hotel pick-up and drop-off from these areas: Umalas, Kerobokan, Seminyak, Legian, Kuta, Tuban, Nusa Dua, Tanjung Benoa, Denpasar, Sanur, Ngurah Rai Airport, or an airport transfer in Bali or Lombok, when you book — just select it during checkout or ask our team. On the Gili Islands, guests arrange their own onward transport.

If you’ve added a transfer, usually between 07:30 and 08:00. Your exact time depends on where you’re staying, and we confirm it after you book. Please be at the dock at least 30 minutes before departure, as our boats run to schedule and leave on time.

Yes. Our Track Our Boats page shows your boat moving along the line in real time: where it is, how fast it’s going and roughly when it’ll arrive, along with the current sea and weather for the crossing. Booked with us? You’ll get a tracking link for your trip.

Yes. Alongside the scheduled island line we arrange private transfers on request. Gili Asahan, for instance, is reached by private transfer from the Ko Ko Mo jetty on Gili Gede. Tell us your dates, numbers and where you’d like to go, and we’ll put together a plan and a quote.

Very. Our boats are custom-built from marine-grade fibreglass to exceed Indonesian standards, with life rafts for 125% of capacity, 40+ life jackets, an emergency beacon (EPIRB), VHF radio, flares, fire extinguishers and first-aid kits. We’ve also completed over 10,000 trips with zero incidents.

Small bags stow under the seats, and larger luggage is stowed securely on board. There’s no fee for normal travel luggage; just let us know in advance about anything oversized or unusual.

Yes. Because board bags are large and bulky, a fee applies to surfboards: IDR 100,000 for a single-board bag, or IDR 200,000 for a multi-board bag (a “coffin” holding more than one board), charged per journey and added when you book. It applies to every passenger carrying a board bag, including those with no other luggage or arriving under their own transport.
